Your chest: Choose your chest shape. To measure: around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level.
Your waist: Choose your waist shape. To measure: around your natural waist, relaxed and without pulling the tape tight.

Lay a T-shirt flat without stretching it. A: measure across the chest, from underarm to underarm. B: measure from the highest shoulder point beside the neck to the bottom hem.

Crafted from heavyweight 260 GSM cotton fabric, the Babo Horangi Tee features a substantial feel and a structured, oversized silhouette. The garment is finished with intricate Korean folk-art-inspired graphics, decorative metal hardware, and a signature TY’JAMIN metal emblem.

Care Instructions

To preserve the garment's artwork, shape, and decorative metal detailing, we recommend gentle hand washing.

Hand wash separately in cold water with mild detergent.
Turn the garment inside out before washing.
Avoid prolonged soaking and excessive rubbing around metal hardware and printed artwork.
Do not bleach or wring.
Reshape and lay flat to dry in the shade.
Gently dry any metal hardware after washing to minimize moisture exposure.
Do not tumble dry.
If ironing is necessary, use low heat on the reverse side, avoiding all printed graphics and metal components.

DESIGN STORY

The Story Behind the Babo Horangi Tee

Rooted in the tradition of Korean Minhwa (민화), the Babo Horangi (바보 호랑이), or "Foolish Tiger," represents a unique expression of Korean folk art where strength and humor exist side by side.

Historically, the tiger has held a powerful place in Korean culture, symbolizing courage, protection, and the ability to ward off evil spirits. Yet in Minhwa paintings, this formidable creature was often portrayed with exaggerated features, wide eyes, and amusing expressions. Sometimes these playful depictions even served as subtle satire of authority, transforming a feared animal into a character full of personality and charm.

At the center of the TY’JAMIN design sits our vibrant blue Babo Horangi, surrounded by traditional Korean-inspired imagery.

The red peonies symbolize prosperity, wealth, and nobility. Their vivid blossoms contrast with the tiger's bold presence, bringing elegance and abundance to the composition.

The mountains, clouds, and rising sun create a dreamlike landscape inspired by the visual language of traditional Korean painting, connecting the tiger to the natural world it has long inhabited in Korean folklore.

The bold blue tiger is TY’JAMIN's contemporary interpretation of this traditional character, introducing a striking modern palette while preserving its playful spirit.

Our logo crest, inspired by a ginkgo tree, can be found on the hardware pieces on the front of the shirt and oversized on the back.
